hurricane francine, currently a tropical depression, continues moving northeastward from louisiana through mississippi. at 7 a.m., we had approximately 10,790 customer outages in the southern portion of our entergy mississippi territory. outages are expected to fluctuate throughout the day as the storm moves through our service area and, therefore, are subject to change based upon the storm’s impact.

we thank you for your patience while we restored your power as a result of the storms that occurred sunday evening. restoration is complete and electrical power has been restored to all customers who can safely receive power.

nearly a year after a deadly ef-3 tornado tore through the mississippi delta, and destroyed essential equipment at our winona substation, the facility is back in operation.

restoration is complete after storms, including two confirmed tornadoes, moved through entergy mississippi’s service territory this week. since monday night, crews restored power to 66,074 customers. electrical power has been restored to all customers who can safely receive power.

crews have been working as quickly and safely as possible to restore power. as of 7:00 p.m. wednesday, crews have restored power to more than 55,900 customers, and 5,420 customers are without power.
