as of 9:30 p.m. crews have successfully restored more than 29,000 customers – down from a peak of approximately 47,000 customers in southeast louisiana impacted by today’s severe weather.

to support a local roadway project and add resilience to the electric system, crews installed eight concrete poles in baton rouge, louisiana. workers dug holes, used a crane to set poles and installed new wire. the project took place near entergy’s facility along pecue lane that serves as the company’s state command center during times of major events such as power restoration following a hurricane.
a grant in the amount of $98,100 has been awarded to the city of west monroe for the installation of these chargers.
