over 44,000 customers lost power at the peak of the storm sunday morning, june 18. more than 260 utility poles, 75 transformers and 791 spans of wire were damaged or destroyed.
entergy continues to position additional resources to restore remaining outages as quickly and safely as possible. currently, there are approximately 2,300 customers without power. we anticipate most customers without power who can safely receive it will have it restored tonight by 10 p.m.
if you are still without power, check for damages to the electrical equipment attached to your home or business. if the service line to your home or business has been damaged by this storm, you may have damage to your meter base. if it is damaged, you may need to have an electrician make repairs as well as a permit before entergy arkansas can safely reconnect service. please contact us at 1-800-entergy if you have additional questions or for reconnection after repairs have been completed. follow this link to learn more about the electrical equipment that serves your home.

entergy has completed damage assessment in the russellville network. currently there are 444 customers that remain without power. we have identified approximately 119 broken poles, 234 spans of wire, 44 broken cross arms, 34 destroyed transformers and 127 spans of wire that need tree trimming. we have increased personnel to 250 linemen and management on site as well as 62 tree trimmers. we will have crews working on 105 ave. 2nw in atkins, 1730 w. 17th circle dr., and mchenry rd in russellville with backyard track machines to restore power. we estimate all customers who can receive power will be restored by 10 p.m. wednesday, june 21. cooling centers are open at crawford and oakland heights elementary until 8 p.m. wednesday, june 21.

crews continue working as quickly and as safely as possible to get power restored to as many customers as possible in the warren network. we have scouts in crossett and hamburg checking for the remaining outages in that area. there are five additional crews in hamburg and four in crossett assisting with restoration. we expect to restore power to all hamburg customer who can safely take it by 4:00 p.m., wednesday, june 21. we expect to restore power to 80% of crossett’s customers who can safely take it by 10:00 p.m., wednesday, june 21. we will provide an ert update for the remaining crossett customers without power once damage scouts complete damage in the remaining areas.
