power has been restored to nearly all entergy arkansas customers impacted by this week’s storms. since the peak outage count of 39,370 during the evening of aug. 18, entergy arkansas has successfully restored power to 99% of customers impacted.

sunday evening thunderstorms brought heavy rains, strong winds, and lightning strikes into our service territory, causing fallen trees and broken tree limbs resulting in a peak outage count of 21,103.

the edison electric institute recently awarded entergy with its 49th emergency recovery award, recognizing the dedication and excellence of our power restoration workers. entergy was specifically recognized for outstanding restoration efforts earlier this year following a severe weather event that traveled a large portion of our service area.
