new orleans – by monday afternoon, entergy crews have restored power to 86 percent of louisiana customers who lost electricity when hurricane isaac made landfall aug. 29.

as of 4 p.m. monday, entergy has restored power to more than 600,000 of the 704,000 louisiana customers who lost power when isaac made its slow trek across the state. since 6 p.m. sunday, entergy has restored nearly 50,000 customers in some of the hardest hit parishes, including orleans and jefferson.
