entergy texas earns energy star® partner of the year – sustained excellence award

third consecutive year for the entergy solutions program to be honored by epa
the woodlands, texas – entergy texas is proud to announce that it has received the 2021 energy star partner of the year—sustained excellence award from the u.s. environmental protection agency and the u.s. department of energy for the third year in a row.
the sustained excellence award is the highest honor bestowed by the energy star program. winners are part of a distinguished group that has made a long-term commitment to fighting climate change and protecting public health through energy efficiency. they are among the nation’s leaders in driving value for the environment and the economy.
the entergy solutions residential and commercial programs in texas have achieved evaluated energy savings of 57 million kilowatt hours through 2021. this is the equivalent of saving the carbon dioxide emissions from about 5,000 homes’ electricity use for one year.
“we’re proud to be recognized with the sustained excellence award for the third year in a row for our work to provide customers with innovative ways to efficiently manage their energy usage and save money on their bills,” said mark delavan, program manager at entergy texas. “our entergy solutions program is an important component of our commitment to helping customers lower their utility bills, increase system reliability and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.”
