elizabeth adams
elizabeth adams is senior vice president and chief customer officer for entergy. she leads the company’s strategic efforts aimed at delivering extraordinary customer experiences while also bringing to market innovative solutions to keep pace with evolving customer needs and expectations.
adams joined entergy in 2015, holding a variety of roles of increasing scope and responsibility across legal, innovation and operations. before assuming her current role, adams served as vice president of system planning and operations, where she was responsible for executing the commercial operations for entergy’s utility companies. in this role, she led teams focused on long-term planning, market strategy, fuel procurement, commercial transactions and market operations of entergy’s power generation fleet.
prior to joining entergy, adams practiced law in private firms in louisiana and texas where she focused on public utility law. adams is a university guest lecturer and her writings have been published in academic journals. she is a presidential leadership scholar and is leading the sustainability efforts of the new orleans super bowl host committee.
adams earned her juris doctor from notre dame law school and her bachelor’s degree in political science from the university of notre dame. adams also holds a master of laws degree from the university of texas in environmental law, energy law and international arbitration and completed the massachusetts institute of technology’s nuclear reactor technology course in 2023.
