entergy arkansas wins adeq award for entergy efficiency programs

entergy arkansas received a 2019 e2 award from the arkansas department of environmental quality for implementing forward-thinking initiatives that have helped customers increase energy efficiency and save money. since 2016, advanced thermostats have saved entergy customers more than $170,000 on their bills.

each year, adeq recognizes businesses and organizations in arkansas for their efforts to protect and enhance the state's environment by presenting three prestigious awards: the arkansas environmental stewardship (envy) award, the arkansas environmental technology (teche) award and the e2 energy award. businesses, nonprofits and government entities are encouraged to apply.
