when the home depot in batesville put out the call for community participation in a children's safety fair, it occurred to the local entergy arkansas team that arcs & sparks would be a perfect fit.

to prepare for the fair, senior lineman john wilkins received training in little rock to operate the trailer-mounted arcs & sparks mini-distribution system.  wilkins and journeyman lineman josh sellers presented safety demonstrations for children and adults at the safety fair.

the main point of arcs & sparks is to impress upon the audience the importance of staying away from power lines. electrical arcs are the highlight of the show and make quite an electrifying impression!
