entergy to provide statement on complaint filed today

new orleans – 沙特vs墨西哥让球 (nyse: etr) will hold a teleconference at 10 a.m. et / 9 a.m. ct today to discuss the complaint filed by entergy nuclear vermont yankee, llc and entergy nuclear operations, inc. in u.s. district court for the district of vermont seeking a judgment to prevent the state of vermont from forcing the vermont yankee nuclear power plant to cease operations on march 21, 2012.

richard smith, president of the entergy wholesale commodities business unit that includes the 605-megawatt vermont yankee nuclear plant, will provide a prepared statement on today's announcement. the request for declaratory and injunctive relief follows the u.s. nuclear regulatory commission's march 21, 2011, renewal of vermont yankee's operating license authorizing the plant's operation through march 21, 2032.
