new orleans – 沙特vs墨西哥让球 (nyse: etr) announced today it is donating a minimum of $80,000 to disaster relief agencies helping people affected by recent tornadoes and flooding that have devastated communities across the south and the central united states.

in addition, entergy shareholders have pledged to match donations from its employees up to $20,000, making the total potential donation of $100,000.

"our thoughts go out to the families of the hundreds killed by the recent tornadoes and to the thousands left homeless either by the tornadoes or flooding caused by the mississippi river," said j. wayne leonard, entergy chairman and chief executive officer.

of the $80,000 initial donation, entergy is giving $20,000 to the united way's louisiana flood relief fund to help people affected by mississippi river flooding in louisiana.

another $20,000 of the total is going to the mississippi public broadcasting service flood relief telethon benefitting local chapters of the american red cross.

to help victims of tornadoes that have swept through the central u.s., entergy is awarding $40,000 to the american red cross disaster relief fund.
